Reblogged from portfoliopassionsandpurple:
They say that when you see a dandelion seed,
All white and angelic,
Flying about you,
Reach out
And hold it gently in your palms.
Then close your eyes,
And make a wish,
And blow it away.
It will carry your wish unto the heavens
Where it will be fulfilled.
But that old woman with wrinkles,
Who used to work on the fields all day,
A lovely poem by Sidra Maryam- 'Dandelion Wish'
I loved that – the picture is one thing, but oh the childhood memories.
I still do the wish, still do…
I tused to do it too- holding a Dandelion and making a good good wish! And hoping it will go straight above the skies
I nominated you for an award:
