Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

» In the Middle Of the Night

Crying and wiping tears together
which wet my pillow tonight
I try not to
think of you,
But it seems
Impossible.

Your thought and
my memories,
they seem to have
trapped me.
I can think of nothing anymore.

And I realize,
It’s useless
to try.
Especially,
when I don’t want to
forget you, or not think of you.
Because I love you to,
think of you!

  1. It’s hard to resist love. It does bring tears but it also brings joy beyond comparison. Beautiful post.

    • Such beautiful words, and its so true too, that love brings ‘joy beyond comparison’ as well. Being loved and taken care for, indeed is the most wonderful feeling in the world!
Thankyou for spreading the much-needed positive vibes through your comment.
      Best regards. =)

  8. Alas! The pillow on which you sleep
Can’t urge you; not to weep
But the tears and emotions that your eyes keep
It can just embrace and let them seep

Absorbing the drops of emotions deep
As you cry; as you weep
It too delves in a journey long
    Guided by the mournful song

The tears fall off and trapped are they
But the pillow hears to what they say
Listens to the memories sweet and sour
And begins to wonder in this late hour

Are your joys, sorrows and fears
    Trapped within as your tears?
Does your heart too sing the song
Of emotions tender and yet too strong?

Slowly it takes you to the land of dreams
Away from tears and sorrows and screams
And when in midnight you are fast asleep
You may not know but the pillow silently weeps

    ===================================================================

I re-read the poem today and became the pillow on which you sleep😛🙂

      • Itne lambe poem ka itna sa response😛

        October 12, 2013 at 9:19 am

        • Because I have no idea how to express what this made me feel:

“The tears fall off and trapped are they
But the pillow hears to what they say
Listens to the memories sweet and sour
And begins to wonder in this late hour”

          Or how to answer this:

“Are your joys, sorrows and fears
          Trapped within as your tears?
Does your heart too sing the song
Of emotions tender and yet too strong?”

And finally how to appreciate this:

“And when in midnight you are fast asleep
You may not know but the pillow silently weeps”

So I will tell how that it’s fantastic and that you’re fantastic too!

          October 24, 2013 at 4:12 pm

          • Don’t give all the burden of being fantastic on me… Thoda aap bhi share kar len… You are fantastic too🙂

BTW… Observation skill again… In the left side of your blog where links of many of your posts are given… This post is listed but there is no link linked to it… I thought you would want to correct it

            October 24, 2013 at 5:14 pm

            October 25, 2013 at 8:35 am

          • Um ouch, how do we say ‘sorry’ in Bengali?

            October 25, 2013 at 1:18 pm

          • ‘Maaf korben dada’🙂
            Maaf=Maaf
            korben=kijiyega
dada= literally means brother, but effectively used for any unrelated male.

            October 25, 2013 at 1:22 pm

          • Haha okay Maaf korben dada?

            October 25, 2013 at 1:23 pm

          • Haha… Thik aachhe😉 (aachhe = hai)
            BTW its ‘maaf’ not ‘maak’

            October 25, 2013 at 1:25 pm

          • And you HAD to point out?😛
            Corrected it. Maaf again.

            October 25, 2013 at 1:41 pm

          • Yup… It was absolutely essential😛

  9. I just cant stop reading your posts..
Every post leads to another level..
Love : Hears are meant to be broken, anyways at the end was it all worthy? that matters

    October 24, 2013 at 3:33 am

    • Thank you Vino! Your visits and comments mean a lot to me!🙂
And you’re right. In the end what matters is whether the broken heart or shattered hopes were worth it all? Learning lessons from the first fall enable human to live quality time until the next.
