Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

She signed the document first, then he signed next to her name. Looked at him, her eyes gleaming, he when did the same. It was beauty that they sought together, not perfection neither fame. Loved each other with fits and faults, providing life a brand new frame. But then came a moment’s storm, destructive as nature’s game. No time had they to clarify, to rebuild against the blame. Silence took over companionship, turning them to stones- Indifferent they weren’t, but haters they became. Truth faded, failed harmony, their document Set aflame.

Today’s Writing Prompt.

  6. You mA have a wisdom of thousand years. Sometimes the signing and setting aflame part can be as apart as twenty years, you know. And when that happens, it’s not just the document that’s burnt. There are many who get the blisters.

    January 9, 2014 at 3:06 pm

    • True, there are many who get the blisters. Like some unstoppable element-emission, those cases, that roots its side-effects deeply into generations. Twenty years, or ten, devastating it is.
Thank you very much for stopping by.
