2014, Poems and poetry

Mystical Embrace

With aching hands and tired feet
this traveler shuts her eyes to sleep
her thoughts she packs in mind’s backyard
but yours it seems she can’t conceal.

All night through she thinks of you
as the sky dresses in cobalt blue
and silver moonlight washes earth,
to another dream her heart gives birth!

Your name she whispers a hundred times;
flutters, her soul in those heavenly chimes
smiling she submits herself in space
as sleep takes her in its mystical embrace.

  1. Oh you just matched your background with your poem… It looks magical now. The poem is beautiful, seriously with all its melody and rhymes, its perfect words and the charm. Great work ❤

  2. Wow. The one thing I liked other than your beautiful and serene verses is the timing. Some 21 years ago at about the same time as you mentioned below your poem, I was brought into this world, it has been a magical ride since then. For the same reason I would like to relate your words with me. Don’t mind haan. 😀 ❤
