A view of Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, as we traveled down the narrow roads between the mountains to the land of Gushtabas, some nice people, intricate shawls, and very red apples.

Hi Maria, I’m curious to know what food that is in the photo with the apples.
Hey you!
That’s Gushtaba, one of Kashmir’s specialties: minced mutton balls cooked in curd and spices that they serve with plain rice and naan. 🙂
Ohhhhhhh, sounds interesting. I love experimenting ethnic foods. My husband and I sometimes cook international dishes together even. We both love naan bread too.
Thanks for telling me Maria, and please have a lovely weekend.
🙂 ❤
That’s so sweet! It must be fun. And naans are a favorite thing here as well. Though instead of Gushtaba, we usually have “kofta”, which is kinda simpler and kinda different. 🙂
And thank you! You always bring love.
I hope you have a great weekend too!
Ummmmmm, now I’m going to have to google a kofta recipe and see if I can make it with some garlic naan with my husband. We’d both love it so much.
Awwwww, you’re more than welcome Maria. Please have a great week ahead.
