Windy drizzles and memories ♥

I stood at the balcony whilst it rained. It was today’s dark night and the sky had blackened more than ever. It started with strong windy blows and it was not late before some tiny droplets began to pour. Tiny, tiny droplets, with increasing wind made it feel so soothing that I couldn’t stop admiring.

While I stood at the balcony, my head peeping out to enjoy the rain, I saw the fearful lightning on the dark, black sky. It was something that made everything go very bright, for split seconds. It looked frightening, orange streaks of it. And then the crosswind had made it hard to breathe. But I wanted to exhale the beauty of it! I wanted to live in that moment so that I can cherish it later, for a thing of beauty is a joy forever!

The rain dropped with its sweet smell and tiny texture on my face. I was amazed by the beauty of that moment. It was all so splendid. Though the lightning streaks and high airstream made me think of those who might be facing different problems due to the sudden change in weather tonight. I prayed to God to bless his mercy and save from His wrath. Then I thought of a friend who is on her exotic trip to Kashmir- the beautiful Kashmir! I hope she is enjoying to her best for she loves the rain as much as I do.

The polythene bags flew with the direction of wind and it was quite interesting to watch them do, (though they are a sign of pollution) they would fly so high and with such an impeccable speed that it was difficult to catch their view!

The trees were blown back and forth at a ferocious and violent speed due to the hurricane and the pedestrians had all hurried to their destinations. However, there still was traffic running on the streets because the people were in a hurry to reach their houses, safe and sound.

After having it all stand in my memory as strong and vivid that I could make it, I returned inside and had dinner. half an our later that I went to my balcony, the drizzling had stopped but the wind was as blissful as it was. The water from the taps is as cold as ice and my hands too..

Auspicious Events~

-the beautiful stage at my cousin’s valima♥

Yesterday was the valima of one of my first-cousins and it was SO cool! I loved the stage and the wedding-hall of course! The gorgeous, golden, spacious hall and the amazing light effects on the stage were beautiful!

Valima is the ceremony after wedding reception and it is from the bridegroom’s side. So it was our event basically as I was from the bridegroom’s side;)

Loved each moment as it made place in memories!

Eternal Love~

What is it about grandparents that is so lovely?  I’d like to say that grandparents are God’s gifts to children.  And if they can but see, hear and feel what these people have to give, they can mature at a fast rate.  ~Bill Cosby

I had been to my maternal grandparent’s house for a night and two days stay and I must say that I absolutely loved each moment of it!

The love, the affection, the special treatment, the delicious dishes cooked by my nano (grandma) and the sweet dishes brought by my uncle and the wise talks of both my nana(grandpa) and nano and the cute steps of my little cousin who just learned to walk – was really delightful!

Grandparents are true blessings. Getting moments together with them is just awesome. They are the best teachers, trust me!

♥Grandparents surely are the best!♥

My Blog Is my Best Friend..!

People don’t understand you? Do they? That is, except your mom, and  sis, and your best friend? Or maybe your teacher too? (oops, that is a lot of them!!) But well, they don’t exactly understand everything! They might get tired of listening to your ‘rubbish talks’ and they might find it boring to listen about ‘your stupid embarrassing moments’ again and again?!! Right?

THaT IS WHy i LOVE MY bLOG!!!

You see, you can put everything in your blog..Its your Hyde park! It won’t scold you, get bored, or forget you! It will always be there for you!(But yes, you can get caught if the person who-must-not-read-this, reads this:P)

And what makes me write this is what happened a couple of days before…

  1. I got 92% in my Final Exams, Alhamdulillah:D
  2. I was pleased to have so many calls, messages and Facebook comments to congratulate me.
  3. The same night, a very embarrassing scene happened. I was waiting for my father to come home with a CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE that he had promised me, when the bell rang! I rushed towards the door, and without even asking who it was, opened it wide! With a long rant of “ASSALAMOALAIKUM!!!”. Our building’s gatekeeper was standing in front of me, very surprised.
  4. I had the MOST DELICIOUS choc fudge cake everrrr!!!:D
  5. I found out that a choc. fudge cake could be a great anti-depressant and mood-fixer!!!
  6. I slept well.

Now you see, I wanted to tell everything to anyone! And I realized that I could, you know, paint all my thoughts in my randomlyabstract blog!

[update Aug, 2014: Wow. I can’t believe I wrote that. But I remember the fudge cake and the embarrassing salaam. And the celebrations waghera. But maaaan.;_; ]

~Happy Moments~

Happy moments.

Like the birds sing a sweet song.
Like the rivers strum a lovely tune.
Like the stars serenade the moon.
Like flowers look so pretty in June.
Like water makes violets grow.
Like winter brings flaky snow.
This true and no jest.
Love is the blueprint for happiness.
by Lamar Cole.

The reason for beginning with this poetry here is to tell ya all…that I am sooo happy!!(Alhamdolillah=)

You know what? Today I had a great day!  Starting at 8 ‘o clock, I woke up and realized that I woke up late:/ Well,I did not have to goto school, yet there is a great institution that I joined,  a couple of days before..So  there, the institute van was about to arrive at any time and I was only stretching my legs and arms, and rolling my eyes, until my bro entered the room and told me to get up!

Ignoring the unnecessary details to tell ya, I reached the inst. at 9 and took my classes till you know, the recess time. After that, the ‘fun’ actually started..! We were to go for an educational trip today, and the trip was to an agricultural professor’s house! You know what? It was one of the MOST amazing places I had ever been to. Let me elaborate:
It was a great bungalow and was full of greenery! Plants, plants and yet plants! Oh and beautiful flowers, things I had never seen before.. Plants from around the world! Cactus, Orchids, and so many more that I couldn’t memorize the names of!

There were ponds, three small ones; with the purpose of moisturizing the plants, set at an equal distance from another. Surrounded by rocks and shells and filled up with a variety of fishes..Gold fish, red fish, black fish, cat-fish:P And yes, their darling kids:D… And there was one huge pond too. With the best decor and fishes.Other then that, there was, of course, a variety of plants.. Plants that required no medium, those on water, those on land..Those having their pots filled up with coal instead of mud…And those-hanging creatures! Pretty-est lotuses on ponds! Those awesome awesome plants, pineapples and coconuts…!And so much more!

And then, the professor and his wife explained to us about those various plants and then helped us in planting our own, by giving us proper instructions! And then we had juice and biscuits, which appeared to be great refreshments for all of us then!
