Died in love..

Yesterday noon, as I returned from a mall where I had gone with a group of friends, I saw a cage inside my house in which a cute, green chick lay dead. Shocked by the view, I ran to my mother to know what had been going on. She asked me to put the cage outside because the animal was dead, and then my bro told me what had happened:

My cousin who has come to Pakistan with his family for spending his holidays (and attending my sister’s wedding) had bought a couple of chicks a few days ago, and had taken them with him to one of his aunt’s house while he stayed there.

Unfortunately, another younger cousin (at aunt’s home) left the cage door unlocked, due to which a crow took a chick and flew away (and had a meal:/ ..)

Ozair was EXTREMELY heart-broken and cried A LOT! Later, he noticed that the remaining chick looked very sick. It was confirmed that it could not bear the loss of its friend and was about to die too.

He brought the chick to our place, and the kids gathered around. The sick, sad chick had stopped drinking water or eating its food. It flapped its wings for the last few times, opened his eyes and then closed them forever. He fell on the cage floor, and died too.

My youngest brother who witnessed the scene, had tears in his eyes, and my cousin got really heartbroken..

Later on, a cat ate the dead chick which had been kept outside.

It’s so true.

Distances kill you.

The chick who died because his mate died..

Humor that hides your sorrow

Humor is that quality which covers or hides your sorrow.. I don’t know whether you agree to this, but I believe it.

Remember what Charlie Chaplan said:

I love to walk in rain because nobody can see that I am crying.

“A comedian is not a man who says funny things,” Ed Wynn once said. “A comedian is one who says things funny. For instance, a comedian is not a man who opens a funny door — a comedian is one who opens a door in a funny way.”

When one talks happily, makes people laugh, wears a continuous, cheery smile, it means he/she is hiding something badly. But that also means, that the person REALLY needs someone who could look into her eyes and understand the depth of circumstances she is going through.

A LESSON IN PSYCHOLOGY:

WHEN A PERSON LAUGHS TOO MUCH EVEN ON STUPID THINGS, BE SURE THAT THE PERSON IS LONELY DEEP INSIDE.

Attracting Positivity~

Hey people!

I had been going through some state of desperation, and desolation, and it was not satisfied until I cried my heart out yesterday!

So its very true that once you give permission for your tears to roll down, they take with them your sorrows. And generally, leave you feeling light.

We keep our tears with ourselves thinking it as a protective shield:  that keeps with us and holds back our fears, our disappointments. But the truth is: that as long as we force back our worries in, we cant let positivity out.

See, there is this misery with you. And you feel like its all over for you. And its such a big loss, that it seems nothing can fill it up EVER again! So what actually happens is, that when such a situation occurs, we somehow begin to promise ourselves that we are never going to let it go. And without even knowing it, we keep hold on our promise so tightly, that we don’t realize what we are doing with ourselves. And thus, we fail to feel the remaining beauty of the world.

There had been two times in my life when I cried the worst. Ofcourse I have cried many a times before and after that because well, I am a girl!;) And I am pretty sensitive!! But the worst two times were:

  1. When my old Grandmother died. (May her soul rest in peace.Ameen)
  2. When my parents went abroad for a month.

Both of these, as I now observe, have been due to losses. When a loved one is far, may it be temporary(case 2) or permanent(case 1), its just unbearably sad. But when something is unbearably sad, one must get closer to God.

When you trust Allah, He soothes out all your ways.

-Trust

-Trust

Secondly, when you attract positivity, it makes it way to you. When you let failure overcome you, it actually coils itself over you. When you know you are bad at it, you just get to be bad at it. When you know nothing will be alright, what has the world got to be right then?

But this is just too hard. But of course not impossible. Anything that can come to a human’s mind HAS to be possible. Because it came in that mind.

If you think you are beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don’t.
If you like to win, but you think you can’t,
It is almost certain you won’t.

If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost,
For out in the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow’s will.
It’s all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are,
You’ve got to think high to rise,
You’ve got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.

Life’s battles don’t always go
To the stronger or faster man.
But soon or late the man who wins,
Is the man who thinks he can.

Sadness Tracks Happiness: Emotions.

lazy_summer_afternoon

Sadness tracks Happiness.

PROVED.

I came home today, and I was pretty excited for no reason…I laughed, and played, and shouted, and enjoyed. Later, I was trapped in that depressive mode of mine:

And I began humming sad tunes.

Sketching.

Sitting.

And pondering.

Why does that always happen? Why does sadness track happiness? Why is sadness powerful?

Has a book ever brought you to tears?

Cover of "A Little Princess (Illustrated ...

Cover via Amazon

Um.

Yeah… I read this years ago : A LITTLE PRINCESS.

It was about a young girl, an orphan, who was left to the mercy of this merciless world. It’s a classic by Frances Burnett and it literally brought me to crying.

Totally amazing, though.

Has a book ever brought YOU to tears? Which one?
