The mad man.

The traffic is high
the night is dark
but the mad man
doesn’t care.

He runs madly
and carelessly
by the roadside;
his feet bare.

A bottle in his hand
and tears in his eyes
he drinks as he runs,
amidst anyone’s stare.

He is mad, so he is free
and no one questions
his authority.

He can kill- if he likes
he may not, if he mustn’t
No chains bind him at all;
of reason nor responsibility.

Tears block his vision,
so for a moment he stumbles
but this doesn’t make him stop
or go against his decision.

The mad man keeps running
and the world begins to fade
the traffic soon dissolves
in a hazy, unknown shade.

No one knows where he ended
what his quest was, what he wanted
but they say in a planet of madness
only he had life comprehended.

In my heart’s clustered town

I am livin'

I am living.

Some tears rolled down..

In my heart’s clustered town.

They cause movements.

I’m living.

I’m loving.

….~.~.~.~…

They rolled further down

To the center of the town.

They cause commotions

I’m dying.

I’m dead.

.

And yet they traveled more

To the point that made me sore.

They made me live again!

I’m dead.

I’m living.

Attracting Positivity~

Hey people!

I had been going through some state of desperation, and desolation, and it was not satisfied until I cried my heart out yesterday!

So its very true that once you give permission for your tears to roll down, they take with them your sorrows. And generally, leave you feeling light.

We keep our tears with ourselves thinking it as a protective shield:  that keeps with us and holds back our fears, our disappointments. But the truth is: that as long as we force back our worries in, we cant let positivity out.

See, there is this misery with you. And you feel like its all over for you. And its such a big loss, that it seems nothing can fill it up EVER again! So what actually happens is, that when such a situation occurs, we somehow begin to promise ourselves that we are never going to let it go. And without even knowing it, we keep hold on our promise so tightly, that we don’t realize what we are doing with ourselves. And thus, we fail to feel the remaining beauty of the world.

There had been two times in my life when I cried the worst. Ofcourse I have cried many a times before and after that because well, I am a girl!;) And I am pretty sensitive!! But the worst two times were:

  1. When my old Grandmother died. (May her soul rest in peace.Ameen)
  2. When my parents went abroad for a month.

Both of these, as I now observe, have been due to losses. When a loved one is far, may it be temporary(case 2) or permanent(case 1), its just unbearably sad. But when something is unbearably sad, one must get closer to God.

When you trust Allah, He soothes out all your ways.

-Trust

-Trust

Secondly, when you attract positivity, it makes it way to you. When you let failure overcome you, it actually coils itself over you. When you know you are bad at it, you just get to be bad at it. When you know nothing will be alright, what has the world got to be right then?

But this is just too hard. But of course not impossible. Anything that can come to a human’s mind HAS to be possible. Because it came in that mind.

If you think you are beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don’t.
If you like to win, but you think you can’t,
It is almost certain you won’t.

If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost,
For out in the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow’s will.
It’s all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are,
You’ve got to think high to rise,
You’ve got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.

Life’s battles don’t always go
To the stronger or faster man.
But soon or late the man who wins,
Is the man who thinks he can.

Has a book ever brought you to tears?

Cover of "A Little Princess (Illustrated ...

Cover via Amazon

Um.

Yeah… I read this years ago : A LITTLE PRINCESS.

It was about a young girl, an orphan, who was left to the mercy of this merciless world. It’s a classic by Frances Burnett and it literally brought me to crying.

Totally amazing, though.

Has a book ever brought YOU to tears? Which one?
